Data Deletion Request
At FollowPeek, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
What Data We Store
When you use FollowPeek, we may store the following data:
- Your Instagram user ID and username
- Follower snapshots (for unfollower detection)
- Premium subscription status
- App usage analytics
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Open the FollowPeek app
- Go to Settings (bottom navigation)
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog
- Your account and all data will be permanently deleted immediately
Option 2: Email Request
- Send an email to [email protected]
- Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- Include your Instagram username in the email body
- We will process your request within 30 days
What Happens After Deletion
Once we process your data deletion request:
- All your personal data will be permanently deleted from our servers
- Your follower snapshots will be removed
- You will need to create a new account if you wish to use the app again
- Active premium subscriptions should be cancelled separately through Google Play
Data Retained for Legal Purposes
We may retain certain data as required by law, including:
- Transaction records for premium subscriptions (for tax and accounting purposes)
- Data required to comply with legal obligations
